The quest to find unique, affordable items of jewellery began with my dissatisfaction of the quality and repetitiveness of the styles available in the mass produced retail market. Out of frustration I decided to design and make my own jewellery to suit my own taste of elegance and bohemian chic.

Friends and acquaintances would compliment me on my pieces and ask where they were from and then began asking me to design affordable pieces for them. The pieces sold themselves, and without really intending to start a business, Baubles & Glitz was born.

I design each handmade piece selecting the materials and colours. I like to reclaim old jewellery and incorporate the finer pieces into my designs giving the old pieces a new lease on life adding uniqueness to my designs.
